Born and raised in Sonoma County, I have a deep connection to the countryside here and I love more then anything working and living in this area. I spent many years in the glow of the dull red lights of the dark room receiving my Master’s Degree in Fine Art Photography. Stemming from a deep understanding of film photography my work has carried with it a romantic and artistic creative touch.

As a photographer and as a person, I am devoted to making my couples feel comfortable and beautiful while maintaining a relaxed and fun environment for everyone throughout the wedding day. Dedicated to capturing the subtle nuanced of your day and the unplanned moments of joy, laughter and tears, I will produce images of your wedding day that will not only help you remember how the day looked, but also how it felt. Every wedding is a delicate and complex story – I will tell yours with detail and attentiveness.

As a heart-driven, observant human being I have learned to be both assertive and also invisible and easy going as a wedding photographer. There will be moments during the day that I will stand tall and play my role as a director. On the contrary, there will be moments during your day that you will forget that I am there while I will be observing and capturing the most delicate of moments. I strive to be more then just your wedding day photographer but also a friend who you feel you would like to share your day with. I have held a bride while she sobbed before her ceremony knowing her father could not be there to walk her down the isle. I did a brides hair when their stylist was a no show. I have steamed dresses, helped with last minute vows and tied numberless ties. By far the greatest compliment a bride has ever given me was when she wrote me the day after the wedding and told me that I was the person who kept her grounded all day while everything spun around her. Creating phenomenal photographs is only a portion of my job.

My wedding photography has been showcased on numerous blogs including Style Me Pretty, Something Turquoise, Borrowed & Blue, Hey Wedding Lady, 7x7 SF Weddings, Love + Wonder, The Knot and many more.

As an award-wining photographer, I bring with me to your wedding confidence, experience and warmth. When I am not photographing your wedding I am busy photographing other loveliness. Just last year, I was nationally acknowledged by Adorama.com as one of their top 10 up and coming photographers. Also, I was newly recognized internationally by Photoboite.com as one of the 30 under 30 female photographers of the year.

- a few random loves of mine -

My favorite smells are gardenia and wet rain on gravel (not necessarily at the same time.) I can’t live without cowboy boots and maxi skirts (also not necessarily paired, though they do mix quite well.) My friends and family mean everything to me. Sand in my toes and sunshine on my shoulders make me smile, always. Gratitude is my favorite word. Airplanes and airports make me feel at home (probably because my father made travel films and I spent my childhoods and adolescence experiencing the great many wonders and cultures of this earth.) I swoon over ivories, whites and creams. My all-time favorite time to shoot is that one day in the middle of July in California when the rain begins to fall completely unexpectedly and the light is unexplainably perfect and the world is calm and still. I thrive on at least five hugs a day and firmly believe that everyone should receive more then ten a day. I don't believe that love is all you need, though I love the concept and would be happy to live in a world where love really was all you needed.

Every day that I get to spend behind a camera I feel grateful, inspired and so incredibly blessed to have a career that makes my soul shine.

And, last but never least, I believe whole-heartedly in love.
